What is a Smart Key Box?

A smart key box (also known as a smart lock box, key safe, key lock box, coded key box, or lockbox) securely stores your house, office, or vehicle keys and allows you to control access using the smartphone app.

Instead of hiding spare keys under a mat or flower pot, you can securely share access with family, guests, tradespeople, or service providers using temporary or permanent access codes.

How Does a Smart Lock Box Work?

A smart lock box lets you create and manage access codes directly from the mobile app. You can generate:

  • Permanent codes for family members or regular users
  • Temporary codes that expire automatically after a set time
